Our ND in Mass Communication equips you with practical skills in media, reporting, and multimedia storytelling. Over four semesters, you’ll cover news writing, ethics, and foundational reporting, then advance to broadcast techniques, digital content creation, and hands-on newsroom projects — all aligned with industry standards and NBTE requirements.
Admission Requirements
Entry Requirements for
Mass Communication
To be eligible for the ND in Mass Communication at DCMT, you must meet the following requirements. Applications for the 2025/2026 session are now open.
ND in Mass Communication Admission Requirements
A copy of your SSCE/NECO/NABTEB result. The result must include a minimum of five credits in the following subjects in not more than two sittings:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Literature
- Any two other subjects
Please note that submission of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) results is NOT MANDATORY at this stage. However, upon admission to DCMT, the provided results will be thoroughly verified for authenticity and compliance with the stated criteria, including JAMB registration.
